Description

The course is part of a larger project by PADI where divers get involved in gathering data by taking photos of the sharks and uploading the pictuers to a website where these are perused by researchers trying estimate a population size.

Mozambique in itself is a formidable diving destination, and besides experiencing the mighty whale sharks we also encounter manta rays, many other species of smaller sharks, not to mention interesting warm-water fish and dolphins.

All participants on the course directly contribute to marine research as a specified amount of the course cost goes toward the PADI AWARE Foundation.
